What is Your Misson?

If you have been following the last few blogs, then you know I have been sharing "stuff" from the Free to Be Me Blogger Retreat.........where I learned and am learning so much.

I have had to take a long, clear look at what God purposed for me and have gone through the recommended steps. One of the challenges we had was to write a mission statement that explains our life and purpose of what we feel we should do.

Okay, the first part of the homework went pretty smooth, but a "mission Statement"? for me? I am having to think on this one. I don't want it to say simply "taking up space".

So, what is your mission statement? Did you figure out how God wants to use you? Did you see the pattern of where He has brought you? If so, do you have the words to lay out your statement?

If so, share it with me, who knows maybe it will help me develop mine.

While you are giving it some thought......be blessed!!!!!

Dearest Sister, I remember when I was where you are at right now. For me it was twice (1998 and then again in 2001) and what a beautiful place to be in yet it can be a bit overwhelming.

I release my thoughts and passion to the LORD that I would move in what He thought and what His passion is for me. I kept to prayer and journaling and serving where He had me and woke up in 1998 and then again in 2001 (both transitional times for me in Ministry) and realized I was right where I needed to be and HE LAUNCHED me from there in HIS Passion.

I had already long been serving the LORD BUT those two points of transition were critical for me in the "next level" HE wanted me to go.

My mission is His mission. My passion is HIS Passion for me. I serve with a grateful heart.

You are so precious to the LORD and His mission, passion and plan for you is being revealed to you as you continue to seek HIM.

I'm excited for you and I'm praying for you.

Love ya. These two months are busy ones for most of us I'm sure so lets you, Sue and myself plan to meet in January? Let me know.

Oh, wow. I'm right there with you. I know that He has given me a desire to dig deep into His word and write. He gives me the perfect words at the perfect time.

I'm really struggling with exactly how the Lord wants me to use this gift. I've committed it to prayer and I truly want His will for this, not mine.

I'm going to be "speaking" at a ladies retreat next weekend. I'm not a "speaker", but I love to encourage and share what the Lord has shown me - so I call myself an encourager!

I'll email you soon in regards to the question you had about combining my blogs.

Blessings!
